The amount of bandwidth that's dedicated to the VOIP service during a call needs to be as high as possible. If you are surfing the web, or downloading music, or doing anything else that requires the internet during your call, you may experience some audio quality issues. The most common are:
- Your high-speed Internet service is not quite what they advertised.
- If you're sharing your internet with another computer, that machine may be using the internet.
- You may have some Spyware or Adware running in the background that you need to get rid of. See our download section for suggestions.
- The problem may not be you. If you're calling a cell phone, the poor quality may be on their side.
